The First Berserker: Khazan, the upcoming souls-like RPG from Neople and Nexon, is just a few weeks away from its official release. Revealed back during The Game Awards 2023, The First Berserker has since captivated many Souls-like and RPG fans with its slick combat, unique art style, and a rather intriguing premise.

The game is based on Nexon’s iconic Dungeon Fighter Online (DnF) IP. However, instead of being a dungeon-crawler beat-em-up game, The First Berserker is a Souls-like. The game takes heavy inspiration from titles like Dark Souls, Nioh, and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Much like any other Triple-A title, The First Berserker: Khazan is also offered in multiple editions.

Furthermore, the game also features pre-order bonuses, as well as a playable demo. Additionally, pre-ordering The First Berserker: Khazan also grants you early access to the game, albeit with some caveats. Here’s everything you need to know about The First Berserker’s early access, editions, and more.

How To Play The First Berserker: Khazan Early?

The First Berserker: Khazan does feature an early access incentive for pre-ordering. However, the early access is locked behind the game’s $70 Deluxe Edition. Essentially, if you pre-order the Deluxe Edition of The First Berserker, you will get access to the base game 72 hours early. The early access is only available for the Deluxe Edition pre-orders, and not for the Standard Edition.

The Standard Edition of the game is priced at $60. As such, you will have to pay $10 extra (and taxes) to play the game roughly 3 days early. However, for the extra $10, you also get a myriad of in-game bonuses with the Deluxe Edition, as well as the official artbook.

Here’s a rundown of the different editions of The First Berserker: Khazan:

Standard Edition ($59.99)

  • Base game
  • Pre-order bonus

Deluxe Edition ($69.99)

  • Base game
  • Pre-order bonus
  • 72-hour early access

The pre-order bonus for The First Berserker includes the Fallen Star armor set. Do note that the pre-order as well as the Deluxe Edition armor sets are purely cosmetic and don’t offer any gameplay benefits.
