This guide contains all the necessary information needed to summon and defeat the Echo of Duriel in Diablo 4.
Diablo 4 is an online-only action RPG game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. The game has so many bosses and events to keep the players entertained and engaged. There are many Uber Bosses in the game that can drop Uber Uniques and other unique items. One of these uber bosses is Echo of Duriel, which is a very hard boss, and some players might have a hard time while fighting this boss.
In this guide, we will help the players in summoning and defeating Echo of Duriel in Diablo 4.
How To Summon Echo of Duriel
This boss is found in the Gaping Crevasse dungeon located in Gea Kul, southwest of Kehjistan’s capital city. Players can summon the Echo of Duriel with the help of Pestilent Altar. However, to summon this boss, players have to collect the following summoning materials:
- x2 Mucus slick eggs: This item can be obtained by killing Echo of Varshan on Torment 1.
- x2 Shard of Agony: This summoning item is collected by eliminating Grigoire, the Galvanic Saint on Torment 1.
After collecting the required material, go to the Pestilent Altar and kill the fanatic followers of Tormented Duriel. Sacrifice the summoning material to summon the Echo of Duriel.
Echo of Duriel Boss Fight Guide
This is one of the hardest boss fights in Diablo 4, so make sure to gear up before fighting. Echo of Duriel can inflict poison, so have elixirs for poison resistance and at least 70% poison resistance. This boss has so many deadly abilities, such as Claw Slash, Poison Pool, Charge, Devouring, Burrowing, and Maggots.
The fight starts with three holes in the ground from where Pang of Duriel’s minions spawn. These minions are low on health but actively spit poison, so deal with them quickly. Beware of attacks like Claw Clash after clearing the minions, and avoid the pools of poison. Keep hitting the boss, and after the boss’ health reaches 50%, the 2nd phase starts.
Again, the second phase brings two Pang of Duriel into the fight. Players should focus on dealing with minions because the situation can snowball in no time. Occasionally, the boss will summon maggots that can be dealt with through AoE attacks. Keep an eye on Boss’s movement, and players will be able to defeat the boss in no time.
