Twitch streamer CaseOh gives his hot take by calling Kendrick Lamar “disgustingly overrated,” and comparing the rapper to Chick-fil-A.
Twitch streamer CaseOh has joined the ranks of critics expressing dissatisfaction with Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX halftime performance. He labeled Lamar as “disgustingly overrated”. The streamer compared Lamar to Chick-fil-A and stated that Lamar is not ‘absolutely horrible’. Case mentioned that he does not like Drake either. The streamer expressed that Lil Wayne should have been the performer instead.

CaseOh streams on Twitch, where he boasts a following of 6.6M followers. The streamer also reiterated that he has been a hater of Kendrick for over 10 years. He criticized the halftime show but claimed that SZA saved the show with her singing. Kendrick Lamar performed various songs at the Super Bowl LIX and featured personalities like Samuel L. Jackson, SZA, and Serena Williams.
While many criticized the show for the lack of classic songs, streamers like ImDontai and Pokimane state that the community missed underlying messages during the performance. During his stream, Case stated:
“I still hate Kendrick Lamar. I always have, always will. Y’all know your boy’s been the biggest Kendrick Lamar hater for the past like 10 years. I still hate him.”

Popular streamer xQc, who also criticized the rapper’s performance at the Super Bowl, praised Case for his take. Felix also pointed out that Case usually does not comment or share his opinion. However, Felix was glad that Case had an opinion similar to his.
“Chat, usually CaseOh chat, doesn’t give a take on anything or safe take, ’cause I think he’s just kind of chilling. But actual W take, glad to see it.”
Felix then seemingly referenced his feud with streamer ImDontai, who had criticized xQc for not understanding the cultural significance of the performance. He stated that “some streamers” would call Case out for his take.
“Now I wonder, hold on. Now I wonder if other streamers are going to call him out for… I’m not going to say it, ’cause if I say it, now I’m the one that’s weird. I wonder if they’re going to say, ‘You can’t say that because of… Because he’s too white.'”
While xQc agreed with most of Case’s criticism, he disagreed with the Content Creator of the Year award winner’s opinion about Lil Wayne. Felix stated that Lil Wayne would not have done better as a solo headliner for the halftime show.
