Following Twitch’s new TOS update, Adin Ross hints at a potential unban and shares plans to stream once reinstated.

After getting permanently banned on Twitch over two years ago, Adin Ross will probably get unbanned soon. The streamer was banned after an unmoderated chat message appeared on screen while he was live on Twitch. The platform recently announced updates to its terms of service, due to which streamers facing suspensions would eventually be unbanned.
Fans speculate that Ross will be getting unbanned on Twitch after the update. Adin explained that he won’t get unbanned just yet, but if he does, he will be streaming soon. In a conversation with Kick streamer Konvy, he said:
“I don’t think it’s going to happen in a few hours, Konvy. I don’t. I would love for it to happen in a few hours. If I get unbanned on Twitch in three-four hours, I’ll spark up tonight. I don’t think it’s going to happen. I think it’s going to happen within the next… if I have to guess, tomorrow. I don’t know.”

Adin was one of the biggest streamers on Twitch who started streaming on Kick in 2022. The streamer usually multi-streamed on both platforms but had switched to exclusive streams. During one such stream on Twitch, Ross had opened his Kick chat, which was unmoderated at the time. Adin received a permanent suspension quickly after problematic messages appeared on the screen.
Before getting suspended on the platform, Adin had over 7.25 million followers on Twitch. The streamer hosted several controversial personalities on his stream, including Andrew Tate, before he was banned.
Twitch Guidelines That Could Lead to Adin Ross’ Unban
The new guideline updates state that most violations on the platform will expire and drop off. High-severity violations will take more time, but violations of the highest degrees won’t drop off. Violations will be dropped off after 90 days, and all suspensions on a channel will be reset. However, Adin’s channel has not been unbanned just yet. Viewers had speculated that the streamer would get unbanned on February 25, 2025, exactly two years after his permanent suspension.
“Violations now expire: Most violations will expire and drop off of your account after a set amount of time. Higher severity violations will take longer to expire, and violations of our highest harm policies won’t drop off of an account.”
Adin Ross is rumoured to be UNBANNED on Twitch within the next 7 days after big changes were made to Twitch enforcement system.. 👀

Twitch has mentioned that suspended streamers can appeal for their unbans on the website. Twitch has also announced that they will share the reason with the streamer that got them suspended on the platform.
Today, we’re making updates to our enforcement system. Our goal is to make it easier for you to track your violation history and know where your channel stands; reduce the risk that streamers lose their communities and livelihoods for low severity violations; and at the same… pic.twitter.com/vCoyMMS5bQ
