Remember To Upgrade Your Ship Before the Fight

Now that we have covered the crew members and the composition of your squads, it is time to focus on Goromaru. Your ship will need to be as strong as your pirate crew because one cannot win without the other. So before you go and take on some of the biggest pirate clans in the Coliseum, please follow the instructions below:

  • Try to max out your boarding squad’s size before the battle
  • Unlock additional ranks for Fuel Tank, Repairs, and Smoke Screens
  • Don’t forget to upgrade Goromaru’s durability as much as possible
  • Acquire the extra Starboard and Port Cannons
  • Try to max out the Gatling Guns the Frost Machine Guns, or both.
  • Install an Energy Canon
  • You can also add Rocket Launchers as an extra option for offense

Keep in mind that these are only our suggestions, and you don’t need to abide by them if you disagree. You can customize and prepare your ship any way you wish.

Defeat Your Opponents in Tournament of Captains

The first thing we have to tell you is that the Tournament of Captains will upgrade every single member of your crew, so it is an optional but important objective if you want to make the Goro Pirates achieve legendary status. Now that the benefits, the upgrades, and the crew options are out of the way, it is time to focus on the actual battle.

The first thing you have to do is try to understand the enemy’s attack patterns. Once you have that nailed down, it is time to go on the offensive. To simplify this process, we have made a checklist of what you should do during this combat encounter:

  • Start your attack with the machine guns, maintain your distance, and keep avoiding incoming fire.
  • Try to Ram the enemy ship every chance you get, then evade and return fire.
  • Use your ship’s drift and movement to get behind the enemy ship so they can’t easily attack you.
  • Keep your machine guns focused on the pirates, then close the distance and try to get them into your cannon range so you can do some heavy damage.
  • Keep repeating this process while repairing your ship, and you will win in no time.

Once you have damaged the enemy ship enough, you will be able to board it. We have already set up a strong boarding squad, so it should not be too difficult. When the boarding begins, try to take out the officers and captains before they can use their special attacks. Use your own supportive and combat skills as much as possible as well. Additionally, the chain hook will be a great tool to get closer to your opponent and make an offensive move.

Rewards
