MrBeast expressed frustration after discovering Hershey’s chocolate bars, a competitor to his Feastables brand, on set during filming.

The popular content creator and Feastables founder Jimmy “MrBeast” was enraged after he found Hershey’s chocolate bars during a shoot. The YouTuber was filming an upcoming YouTube video when he found the chocolate bars.
He stated that it was a “horrible” way to start the shoot. In the Instagram story MrBeast posted, he was seen asking the employees if they put the bars on set. MrBeast founded Feastables, and he aims to make it the most ethical brand in the industry.
“Guys, I’m on set and someone did something really terrible that I really need to confront. Let me flip this around. If you look right here, there are Hershey’s chocolate bars on set. Tareeq did you buy these? Who bought this sh*t?”

MrBeast has previously stated that the chocolate industry employs child labor, which he aims to tackle. The YouTuber recently appeared on the Diary of a CEO podcast, where he stated his aim was to get more and more children out of child labor through Feastables. While Jimmy called out his employees, he asked what they were thinking when putting Hershey’s on the set.
An employee humorously claimed that he was the one to put them on set. However, he later denied when Jimmy asked if he actually did. During his Instagram story, Jimmy stated:
“Who put Hershey’s on set? Why? Why, what are we thinking everybody? This is a horrible way to start a shoot.”
MrBeast Comments on Child Labor in the Chocolate Industry
While Feastables tries to be fully ethical in the future, MrBeast claims the chocolate industry employs 46% of child laborers. The YouTuber stated on the Diary of a CEO podcast that the cocoa farms employed over a million minors for work. MrBeast aims to solve the child labor problem by trying to stay profitable while ethically sourcing the raw materials for producing chocolate.
“What we need to do is, in my head, get to a billion dollars a year in revenue as fast as possible while being ethically sourced and profitable. A big part of it is that we have to be profitable while doing it because then I can point and say, “Look, we achieved scale ethically and we’re making money. It’s not that you can’t do it—you just don’t want to.””
