REPO is a recent co-op horror sensation on Steam, drawing huge player counts. But is it available on Xbox Game Pass?

REPO (short for The Retrieve, Extract, and Profit Operation) is an online co-op horror title that recently launched in early access on PC. Its gameplay revolves around retrieving valuable objects with physics-based mechanics and extracting them safely while escaping from dozens of monsters. Developed by Semiwork Studios, REPO has been widely praised and has received an overwhelmingly positive response for its blend of humor and horror.
The game joins the league of recent indie horror co-op hits like Lethal Company and Content Warning. As a result, many console players are wondering if they will get a chance to play this latest horror sensation. If you are hoping for REPO’s availability on Xbox Game Pass, we have some bad news. Unfortunately, REPO is not available on Xbox Game Pass. Currently, the game remains PC-exclusive, available only on Steam.

Will REPO Come to Console in the Future?

As of the time of writing, REPO is not available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo. Semiwork Studios, the indie developers of REPO, have not officially announced any plans for a console release. However, a page titled ‘R.E.P.O Horror’ appears on the PlayStation Store with the same icon, leaving some confusion among PlayStation users. While it almost looks similar, it has different developers and gameplay mechanics.
Most indie games like REPO typically launch on Steam first and are later ported to consoles depending on their long-term success. Since the game is still in early access, Semiwork Studios may consider bringing it to PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo upon its full launch, depending on its popularity. The developers have mentioned that early access will last approximately 6-12 months, meaning the earliest possible console launch would be September 2025.
Voidigo, Semiwork Studios’ previous project, was released in early access on Steam in 2021 and had its full launch in 2023. However, the game has not yet made its way to consoles. Let’s wait for the developers’ decision to find out whether history will repeat itself or if REPO will make its way to consoles.
