Unlock legendary powers in Rune Slayer with our step-by-step guide on mastering Cho Blessing and Eclipse Curse. Start now!

The latest Rune Slayer update on Roblox dropped a pair of shiny new toys: Blessing: Cho and Curse: Eclipse, also dubbed the Curse of the Dune Dragon. They’re legendary powerhouses that summon turtles and dragons to wreck foes with 500 Intellect-level damage.
Want them? Gear up to slay the Lich King or Goblin King because that’s where they hide. Fair warning: the drop rates are stingy, and you’ll need the right faction and fairy to even use them.
How to Get the Cho Blessing in Rune Slayer
To unlock the Cho Blessing, you need to follow three specific steps. First, join the Holy Sect. This is a requirement. If you’re not in the Holy Sect, you won’t be able to use the skill even if you unlock it.

Second, you must equip an Earth Fairy. Without it, the blessing won’t activate. You can get the Earth Fairy only by defeating the Elder Treant, a world boss in the Greatwood Forest. This boss is tough and drops different elemental fairies. So you may have to fight it multiple times to get the Earth one.
Finally, you need to defeat either the Lich King or the Goblin King. Both bosses have a low drop chance for the Cho Blessing. Be prepared for a grind.
Once equipped, the Cho Blessing summons a turtle-like monster. It deals heavy damage equal to having 500 Intellect. It also drains Mana and HP from the target. The skill has a 1-hour cooldown, so use it wisely.
How to Get the Eclipse Curse
The Eclipse Curse is the dark counterpart to the Cho Blessing. To get it, start by joining the Demon Sect. Without this, the curse won’t work, even if you manage to unlock it.

Next, you need a Fire Fairy. Like the Earth Fairy, it also drops from the Elder Treant in the Greatwood Forest. The drop isn’t guaranteed. You may get other fairies first, so keep farming until you get Fire.
Once you’re in the Demon Sect and have the Fire Fairy, it’s time to farm bosses. Defeat either the Lich King or the Goblin King to get the Eclipse Curse. Again, the drop rate is low, so be ready to repeat the fight.
When used, the skill summons a dragon that deals high damage (scaling with 500 Intellect). It drains Focus and HP from the enemy and has a 1-hour cooldown.
