Critics and fans have received the title well, making it one of the few recent Ubisoft games to achieve this. The game features two protagonists, namely Naoe, a stealthy Shinobi, and Yasuke, a brutish Samurai, fighting their oppressors and taking back control of the land.
Assassin’s Creed: Shadows map is filled with obscure quests, hidden treasures, and breathtaking locations, similar to other Ubisoft games. The Loyal Traveler is a legendary Long Katana for Yasuke in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. It has a weapon DPS of 783 points with regular or light attacks. The legendary weapon comes with a posture DPS of a whopping 3828 points for stance-based attacks. To add to it, the weapon has an adrenaline gain passive ability of 19.2 %.
Its special perk is that sheathed attacks with the Katana posture make the enemy vulnerable to further attacks. The weapon is more effective when paired with a powerful set of naginatas. These mentioned perks and abilities make the Loyal Traveler Long Katana a must-have weapon in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Where To Find the Loyal Traveler Long Katana in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
This long Katana can be located in the Kii region of the map, as shown in the image above. The weapon is stored away in a legendary chest found near the Kamikura shrine. You’ll need to navigate the mountain with the game’s classic parkour system until you find the chest near a trail of blood and a dead corpse at the stairs of a shrine. The game doesn’t make it clear who the dead man is or who killed him, though, and leaves it up to the player.

The said chest also contains the Improved Sheath Attack Engraving to further enhance Yasuke’s Sheath Attack’s ability. Yasuke or Naoe can collect the long Katana, but only Yasuke can equip it. The weapon can easily deal with higher-level enemies and can help to clear heavily guarded areas in Assassin’s Creed: Shadows. This item is one of the few legendary Long Katanas found throughout the game.
