You can now Arm Wrestle your friends or other players from your lobby in Monster Hunter Wilds, and this article explains all of its details.
The latest Title Update 1 of Monster Hunter Wilds has finally added the Grand Hub, an addition that players had requested since the title’s launch. This area is essentially the Wilds version of the Gathering Hub and allows you to socialize with other players as well. You can also take part in some fun mini-games to take a break from your enormous hunts.
Arm Wrestling is one of these mini-games that you can take part in from the Grand Hub. Unlike Barrel Bowling, this is a fully PvP game mode where you can arm wrestle with any other player willing to take up the challenge. In this article, we will explain how you can arm wrestle in Monster Hunter Wilds.
How To Arm Wrestle in Monster Hunter Wilds
You can arm wrestle only inside the Grand Hub in Monster Hunter Wilds. This PvP event takes place atop barrels, and there are two such spots in the entire Grand Hub. Luckily, both of these barrels are in the same area, and here’s how you can find them.
Arm Wrestling Spot Locations in Monster Hunter Wilds Grand Hub
Once inside the Grand Hub, make your way to the central area. Locate the Ingredient Center, and you will find one of the arm wrestling barrels just beside it. From here, simply turn in the opposite direction, and you should see another arm wrestling barrel. Simply go to any of these barrels and interact with them to start the process.
After interacting with the barrel, you will automatically assume the arm wrestling position. When another player comes and also interacts with the same barrel, the arm wrestling match between the two of you will begin.
How To Play Arm Wrestling in Monster Hunter Wilds
Arm Wrestling is a matter of strength, where the better button masher will win. Simply spam the respective keys (X and O on consoles) to overpower your opponent, and you will end up toppling them to the side in a really comical fashion. Your character will also proceed to do some happy and comic emotes, while the loser picks themselves up from the ground.
Similarly, if you lose an arm wrestling match, you will fall over, with the word “Defeat” appearing in bright red on your screen. Unfortunately, you do not get any rewards for winning an arm wrestling match in Monster Hunter Wilds.
