In the exclusive No Return mode for The Last of Us 2 Remastered, you can play with 10 different characters to initiate a run. Dina, the ever-quirky lover of Ellie, is one of the playable characters you can use to initiate a roguelike run in this mode.
Since every character has a different weapon and challenges set, learning their core gameplay mechanics along with their upgrades is important. Here’s everything you need to know about Dina in The Last of Us 2 Remastered.
How To Unlock Dina in The Last of Us 2 Remastered (No Return)
Dina is one of the first characters you will unlock in Ellie’s path. Considering she has a more technical playstyle, you can use her ability to place mines onto the surface.
To unlock Dina, you must complete at least two encounters with Ellie in the No Return mode. Once the challenge is complete, you can choose Dina from the character roster and use her whenever you want.
Dina’s Abilities in The Last of Us 2 Remastered (No Return)
Since every character has their own specific weapon and abilities, Dina relies on her craftiness. She can craft various bombs and items to kill the enemies in the vicinity.
Additionally, her crafting capabilities can be upgraded at the Double Craft Upgrade Bench. Here are the following upgrades you can make:
- Craft Smoke Bombs: This ability allows Dina to craft smoke bombs, allowing her to escape sticky situations.
- Craft More Smoke Bombs: It reduces the number of items required to craft some bombs.
- Improved Trap Mines: Buffs the radius of a Trap Mine by 50%.
- Craft More Mine Traps: Dina can craft more Mines with the resources in her inventory.
