Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can open the garage door in Blue Prince:
Unlock the Garage Room via the Utility Closet
To open the door leading to the garage room, you first need to draft and access the utility closet. Once inside, you should see multiple switches at the bottom. Each of these switches unlocks various areas like the Gymnasium, Dark Room, and our main objective, the Garage.
You need to flip the switch to the garage to unlock it. Once that’s done, leave the utility closet. You can then proceed to the garage room.

Opening the Garage Door
When entering the garage, look to your left once you reach the end of the corridor. You should see a giant switch with a green light. This is the button that opens the garage door. All you have to do now is press it, and the overhead door should open up.
Heading outside the garage door, you should now be in the wide outdoors with various paths leading to different areas. Don’t forget to head to the left path first and pass the wooden plank bridge to unlock the West Gate. Don’t worry about the wooden plank since it will not break when you attempt to pass through it. After unlocking the gate, this should open up the outdoor area permanently on your playthrough. This implies that you can access this area whenever you wish, and it won’t reset.
