Ashenfall is a vast continent sprawling with wildlife, dragons, goblins, and several other monstrosities that would not think twice before chomping down on you. To make matters worse, the land is also filled with hazardous areas that can poison you if you’re not careful. Poison is a real threat in Ashenfall and comes from both enemies and the environment itself.

Navigating the continent, therefore, can be a total hassle. You’ll be inflicted with the Poison status effect more often than not, feeling helpless as it eats away at your HP bar. Thankfully, RuneScape Dragonwilds provides you many ways to deal with the Poison status in the game.

The game just does a poor job of telling you how to deal with it, so if you’re constantly bothered by the Poison status effect to the point where it’s hindering you from freely exploring, we’re here to help. In this guide, we shall go over how to cure the Poison status in RuneScape Dragonwilds.

As stated earlier, RuneScape Dragonwilds provides you with several tools and items that you use to deal with the Poison status in the game. These tools include cures that remove the effect entirely, as well as food items that give you extra resistance.

If you’re seeking a cure, we recommend crafting the Anti-Poison potion in the game. This potion is crafted using 1x Harralander, 1x Bittercap Mushroom,  and 1x Clay Vessel. You find the Harralander and Bitterscape Mushroom in the swamp biomes of the game.

We recommend narrowing your search down to the border regions of these swamps for the best result. You get the Clay Vessel by crafting an unfired Clay Vessel at the Pottery, before running it through the Kiln. Bring all these items together and assemble them in the Brewing Cauldron to make the Anti-Poison potion.

If you’re more of a “prevention is better than cure” person, we recommend crafting the Grilled Mushroom food item. This dish grants you temporary resistance to poison, making it easier to navigate hazardous areas. You cook this dish using fuel and Bitterscape Mushrooms.
