Where To Find Flax in RuneScape Dragonwilds?
Flax is a blue flower that grows in almost all of the regions in the game. However, you should head to the Bramblemead Valley area if you’re looking to harvest a large amount of Flax as quickly as you can. The flower grows in open fields, but make sure to also check the vast number of dilapidated buildings in this region. You might find some Flax inside these structures as well. We also suggest looking near the edge of water bodies, as the flower seems to be more plentiful in these locations.
However, keep in mind that the Bramblemead Valley is full of goblin patrols. So, make sure you are prepared to face off against these foes when you’re in the area. Carry sufficient amounts of healing items to avoid falling in battle here.

How To Use Flax in RuneScape Dragonwilds?
Flax has only a couple of uses in the game, which include Coarse Thread crafting. Every Flax produces 1x Coarse Thread. You’ll need access to the Spinning Wheel before you can make the item, though.
Coarse Thread is a critical ingredient in crafting many of the game’s best weapons and armor. You’ll need multiple Coarse Threads to craft the following items.
- Chef’s Hat
- Apprentice Hat
- Apprentice Robe
- Apprentice Leggings
- Adventurer’s Longbow
- Bronze Logging Axe
- Bone Dagger
- Garou Highborn’s Cloak
- Stormtouched Cape
Also, Flax is an important material that you’ll need when crafting the Spinning Wheel itself. Alongside 4x Flax, the spinning wheel recipe calls for 12x Ash Logs and 2x Stone.
