How To Craft Swamp Thread in RuneScape Dragonwilds
Swamp Thread, like most other textile items, doesn’t simply exist out in the world. Instead, you’ll have to make it using other resources or materials. To make the Swamp thread, you’ll need access to the following resources.
- Spinning Wheel
- Swamp Weed
While you’ll be able to build the Spinning Wheel early on in the game, acquiring the Swamp Weed is more complicated. You can find this item solely in the Bloodblight Swamp, which is a late-game area. The location requires you to have an anti-poison potion active at all times during exploration. You should look for The Swamp Weed near the shores of this region. They are greenish, seaweed-like plants that can be difficult to spot if you aren’t paying close attention.
You can also look for the plants inside the caves in this region. However, your best bet is to go to the areas near the water. Beware the Abysmal Demons that roam this region, and make sure you are prepared to fight them.

How To Use Swamp Thread in RuneScape Dragonwilds
You can use the Swamp thread to craft powerful weapons in the game. For instance, this material is an important ingredient when you’re trying to make weapons, such as the Blightwood Shortbow or Longbow. But you’ll also need other rare resources to complete crafting these weapons, including Vault shards and Jade.
At this moment, there doesn’t seem to be any other use for the Swamp thread other than crafting the bows mentioned above. More recipes may be added in the future, where Swamp Threads are a necessity.
