Fighting with the fierce dragons is no easy task, especially if you don’t have proper gear. To obtain better gear in Runescape Dragonwilds, you must collect and store a wide variety of items from different regions. You never know when they will be useful. Where To Find Swamp Tar in Runescape Dragonwilds
Swamp Tar can be obtained in Whispering Swamp, the second major region of the game. You will find it scattered throughout the land areas in the biome. It appears as small stone deposits and can be easy to overlook due to the dense fog.
Although they resemble ore nodes, you don’t need any pickaxe to collect them. Just approach Swamp Tar and press the interact button to collect it. Additionally, you will also receive Swamp Tar as a guaranteed drop when defeating Putrid Rats, giant rat-like creatures with glowing tails that roam the biome.
How To Use Swamp Tar in Runescape Dragonwilds
Upon collecting enough Swamp Tar, you need to convert it into Adhesive to progress further. However, to do so, you need a Kiln, which can be crafted using Ash Logs, Stones, Clay, and Fire Runes.
Once you build the Kiln, put your Swamp Tar inside to process it into Adhesive. You will receive one Adhesive for each unit of Swamp Tar. You can then craft Hard Leather by combining Adhesive with Leather using an upgraded Tannery. Hard Leather is a core component for crafting a variety of high-quality armors and weapons, including the Abyssal Whip.
