How To Beat the Harbinger of Hatred in Last Epoch

The Harbinger of Hatred will use the tank archetype attacks with added Void Damage. It will also use some abilities of the previous boss defeated to summon it. These attacks will be slightly altered but can be countered in the same way. Once you summon the Harbinger of Hatred, here are the attacks you need to look out for:
Attacks | Description | Counter |
---|---|---|
Tank Slam | The Harbinger raises its hammer and slams it down to create a cone of force toward the target, which deals physical damage. | Circle the boss or sidestep the attack. |
Massive Tank Slam | The Harbinger raises its hammer slowly, and a red circle appears in its target area. It slams the hammer down to deal high physical damage. | Run or dodge out of the circle area and counterattack. |
Tank Echo Slam | The Harbinger and five Echoes strike the ground one after another in rapid succession, unleashing powerful bursts of Physical and Void damage that shoot out in straight lines from each Echo’s position. | Move out of the circle of Echoes and attack the Harbinger from behind. |
Tank Void Combo | The Harbinger unleashes a flurry of three weapon slashes, each inflicting moderate Physical damage, followed by a powerful ground slam that delivers heavy Physical damage. | Dodge each strike or move a safe distance away until the final slam. |
Tank Void Orbs | Summons multiple orbs on the ground that linger briefly, inflicting Void damage on contact. | Avoid the orbs, counterattack, and watch out for the next attack. |
Tank Void Portal Blast | Opens a portal nearby, and after a brief delay, drives its hammer through it, causing moderate Physical and Void damage to anything caught in its path. | Dodge as soon as the portal appears to avoid the attack. |
Tank Void Rush | Thrusts its hammer forward and rushes the player, dealing Physical and Void damage. | Move out of the attack path as soon as the hammer is pointed at you. |
Tank Void Turrets | Purple orbs appear and briefly fire projectiles in a straight line.. | Avoid the projectiles as they only serve to restrict mobility. |
Hatred Void Slam (Rahyeh) | Purple circles will appear, marking the impact areas for meteors | Move away from the Harbinger, beyond the area indicated by the purple circle. |
Void Meteors (Rahyeh) | Purple circles will appear, marking the impact areas for meteors. | The harbinger will repeatedly slam its hammer on the ground, and cones of Void damage will radiate outward in alternating directions. |
Void Flares (Rahyeh) | The harbinger will repeatedly slam its hammer on the ground and cones of Void damage will radiate outward in alternating directions. | Move counterclockwise around the boss. |
