Players can help Jar the Talking Nevron during a quest in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 by following these simple steps.
Clair Obscur has a strange quest called Jar’s Light Quest. It is a unique side mission that is completely optional. We call it “unique” because it starts off automatically as part of the main story as you are moving through the Grand Meadow. In one of the caves, you will find a pale Nevron called Jar. As the name of the quest suggests, he wants you to find light. Pretty vague, right? Let’s help you out so you can reap the rewards he has to offer.
Finding Light For Jar in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
When the Nevron asks you to search for a light, it may confuse you. However, what you need to look for is a Resin. This material is inflammable and can create light when lit up. So, for this, you need to run a small errand. When looking at Jar, turn left and follow the path out of the blue-lit corridor.
You will come out on the other side of the cave. Now, travel northeast from here. You will eventually spot a bridge. There are two ways to do this. You can cross the bridge and turn left at the end to follow the path headed downward, or jump down and go under the bridge until you find a wall littered with barrels as shown in the image above.
There will be a strange purple glow. Destroy the boxes, pick up any extra loot, and interact with the purple glowing Resin here to pick it up. Retrace your steps to head back to Jar and speak to him. After you give him the resin, a small cutscene will trigger. Get back and aim a shot at the top of his staff to light it up. Talk to him, and after another cutscene, you will be rewarded with 1x Healing Tint.
His light will go away once more, and he will ask for your help again. You can either tell him that you will now be on your way or select the attack option. The latter triggers a fight. Defeating Jar, the Talking Nevron in Clair Obscur Expedition 33, will grant you 3x Colour of Lumina and 1x Chroma Catalyst. The latter is useful for upgrading weapons.
