Beaks is here with their first major update and it is huge. The game has updated many requested mechanics and events. This update also introduces some new features to the game. Eight new NPCs have arrived and they will give you 23 quests. You can now skip rolling for Darts and just buy them from the Darts vendor. Everything To Know About the Latest Beaks Update
New Quests
As mentioned before, there are 23 new quests and eight new NPCs spread across the map. You can explore the places and find out about these NPCs. Benny Beaks is a new NPC that has spawned in Beakwoods near the sign. To start, he will give you easy quests like capturing some birds and returning to him for rewards.
Darts Shop
You can now directly purchase the Darts you need from Darth the Dartsmith. Before the update, you had to roll for the Darts you needed. If you had purchased the Dart Luck, you can get a 20% discount on all the darts. Extra Dart Crafting gamepass now provides double the amount of Darts while crafting new ones.
Watch Towers
You can now access Watch Towers across the map for 2000 Bucks. Once you get access to the Watch Tower, you can get a 30-minutes of high-altitude advantage. You can hunt rare and legendary birds with a damage boost and higher Dart speed.
New Events
New events have been introduced to the game and you should use these to get rare birds. Blood Moon, Golden Moon, Garden of Eden, Lunar Eclipse, Firefly, and Cherry Blossom are six new events that are now live. These events will boost spawn rates for legendary and rare birds according to the patch notes.
Improvements
There are several new improvements that players will notice during their gameplay. Some minor visual updates are now live, icons have been added above NPCs and shops to make them easier to spot. Gliders are now faster, and nighttime visibility has been improved. Nighttime birds have also been fixed and will now spawn regularly. Additionally, when events go live in the game, the locations of the events will appear alongside the event messages. Some glitches with the Mutations have been fixed as well.
Other Updates and Codes
Codes are finally here in Beaks! You can use UPDATE1 to get free Golden Darts. Other updates include an anti-exploitation system to ensure players get a fair gameplay experience.
Conclusion
Overall, this is a solid update to the game. Some issues with hitboxes also seem to have been fixed. The addition of codes is a great improvement and will significantly help newer players. We can expect the developers to release more codes in the future. New events and mechanics are also among the best additions to the game.
