Yellow Harvest is one of the optional regions in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 that players can visit after unlocking Esquie’s swimming ability. Besides Yellow Harvest’s main boss, Glaise, the region has many formidable opponents, and Chromatic Orphelin is one among them.

Chromatic Orphelin Attack Patterns in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Chromatic Orphelin is a boss battle consisting of three different Orphelins. However, the primary health bar corresponds to the one with the glowing eyes at the centre. The other two Orphelins have their own individual health bars. This means that their health doesn’t sync with each other, and you need to defeat all three individually to complete the battle.
They don’t have any flashy moves or magic spells like other bosses. However, they deal greater physical damage with their hammer, spoon, and nail attacks. What sets the Chromatic Orphelin apart from other bosses is its ability to inflict Blight status, which reduces the maximum health limit by 10%. Moreover, this effect can stack up repeatedly and reduce health by 10% for each, making the battle more challenging.

How To Defeat Chromatic Orphelin in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
- The trio of Nevrons is weak to Earth-type elements, giving you an organic advantage during the battle. Chromatic Orphelin is susceptible to Earth-based skills like Lune’s Crustal Crush.
- Dealing with the Blight effect should be your priority in the battle. Lune and Sciel can effectively heal your party members and remove the status ailment. Particularly, skills like Lune’s Healing Light can come in handy during the battle.
- Inflicting a Burning status ailment on Chromatic Orphelin is another effective strategy during the battle, leaving a lasting impact on the Orphelin.
- Prioritize taking out the Nevrons one by one. Focus on one Orphelin at a time, eliminate it, and then move on to the next target. This approach significantly reduces the risk of stacking multiple Blight effects.
Upon defeating the Chromatic Orphelin, you will receive Polished Chroma Catalyst, Colour of Lumina, and Kralim — a weapon for Lune.
