Everything you need to know about Wuchang Fallen Feathers’ Deluxe Edition, including its contents and whether it’s worth buying or not.

The upcoming souls-like action RPG from Chinese developer Leenzee, Wuchang Fallen Feathers, is just a few months away from its official release. The game recently received several new gameplay trailers showcasing its robust and fluid combat system, along with the announcement of its official release date. One of these trailers also highlighted the game’s various bundles, pre-order bonuses, and, most importantly, the Deluxe Edition content.
Similar to other Triple-A or Double-A titles released today, Wuchang Fallen Feathers will be available in two editions – Standard and Deluxe. The game is also priced at just $50, which is quite refreshing (and surprising) considering the $70 norm for most modern releases.
Given the game’s lower pricing, some players might be considering the Deluxe Edition. However, is the Deluxe version worth buying? Here’s everything you need to know about Wuchang Fallen Feathers’ Deluxe Edition.
What Is Included in the Wuchang Fallen Feathers Deluxe Edition?

Wuchang Fallen Feathers’ Deluxe Edition is priced at $60. For the extra $10, you get access to three exclusive outfits for Wuchang (the protagonist), early unlocks for weapons, and a large skill upgrade item (Blood of Changhong). Additionally, the pre-order bonus includes two exclusive outfits for Wuchang.
Altogether, purchasing the Deluxe Edition gives you five outfits right out of the gate. Note that the bonus outfits are purely cosmetic and do not provide any gameplay-related advantages. The only item that affects gameplay is the skill upgrade item, Blood of Changhong. However, it is also obtainable in-game (similar to Souls in Dark Souls).
Here’s a look at the different editions as well as the pre-order bonuses:
Standard Edition ($49.99)
- Base game
- Pre-order bonus
Deluxe Edition ($59.99)
- Base game
- Pre-order bonus
- Tiger of Fortune costume
- Draconic Resurgence costume
- Soul Ritual Robe costume
- Overlord’s Regalia costume
- Watcher’s Gaze (Sword)
- Dragoncoil Lance (Spear)
- Eternal Sovereignty (Dual Blades)
- Moonlight Dragon (Sword)
- Blood of Changhong Skill Upgrade Item (Large)
The pre-order bonus includes the following items:
- Night Spectre Enhanced costume set
- White Spectre Enhanced costume set
- Vermillion War Club (Axe)
- Glistening Red Mercury Skill Upgrade Item (Medium)
Is Wuchang Fallen Feathers Deluxe Edition Worth It?

Considering the Deluxe Edition upgrade costs only $10 more than the Standard Edition, it’s a no-brainer—provided you have $60 to spare. Otherwise, the Standard Edition is perfectly fine, as no additional story content is locked behind the Deluxe Edition. However, for $60, the Deluxe Edition is well worth it, especially for the exclusive outfits. Wuchang Fallen Feathers is scheduled for release on July 24, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders are currently live on all platforms.
