How To Defeat Bertrand Big Hands in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

As stated earlier, Bertrand Big Hands is a special boss you find in the Arena at the Gestral Village. Head over to the Arena and find Limonsol on his throne. Talk to Limonsol to register for the fight, and present your best fighter for the boss battle. Next, select Bertrand Big Hands as your opponent to kick off the boss fight.
Bertrand kicks off the fight as the aggressor, spinning in place to charge up an attack and going for a discus hook. This hook is easy to parry as long as you keep your eyes locked on the boss’s right hand. Parry as soon as the fist is about to connect for a successful parry. You can also dodge this attack, but we recommend parrying to open up counterattack opportunities.

The next attack Bertrand Big Hands likes to use is a much slower one. Bertrand rushes up to you before crouching low and swinging from below. Once again, parry just as the attack is about to land for a successful parry. Successive parries will open Bertrand up for a counterattack, and you can finish him off easily.
