Blood Crystals in V Rising are an important material required for crafting. In this article, we will tell you how to find and use it.
Players in V Rising will need Blood Crystals in every stage of the game, including the end phases. This material is essential for crafting other important items in the game. However, as you progress and make your way towards the late stages of the game, Blood Crystals start to become increasingly scarce. So, to prepare for that, you will need to stock up as much as possible from early on.
Additionally, Blood Crystals in V Rising will also help you defeat high-level bosses. That is why, in this article, we will discuss how you can get them.
How To Get Blood Crystals in V Rising
Blood Crystals are primarily found in Blood Nodes. Players will be able to find these Blood Nodes scattered around Dracula’s Demise area. To find this place, you will have to journey north of the Dunley Farmlands, or you can just follow the map given above. After you have reached the mentioned location, start looking for some red-colored crystals sticking out of rocks. Then, simply hit the rocks with a Dark Silver or higher tier weapon to collect the Blood Crystals.
However, keep in mind that the area itself swarms with monsters at level 80 or higher. So, we highly recommend that you at least reach level 60 and equip high-level gear before you begin your hunt for the Blood Crystals. Additionally, if you want bonus rewards in this expedition of yours, then you can try taking on Lord Styx, the Night Champion. He is a level 83 boss, and defeating him will grant you the Bat Form, a recipe for Onyx Tear, and a Blood Key.
How To Use The Blood Crystals in V Rising
Players will primarily be using Blood Crystals to craft Onyx Tears. One Onyx Tear requires 120 Blood Crystals, four Gold Ingots, and four Power Cores. It is a crucial material that allows players to access Legendary Weapons in the game. Additionally, to get one of these, you will need three Onyx Tears, one Primal Blood Essence, the shattered shards of a Legendary Weapon, and an Ancestral Forge.
Since players need Onyx Tears to craft Legendary Weapons, and three of them require a total of 360 Blood Crystals, they should start stocking up on these items as early as possible in their playthrough.
