If you’re playing as a Blood Wave Necromancer, get your hands on the Tidal Aspect in Diablo 4. Here is how you can find the legendary Aspect.

Blood Wave Necromancers are powerful subclasses that you can play as in Diablo 4. Although developers decided to nerf their powers from what they were originally, a proper Blood Wave Necromancer build can still do significant damage. One of the Legendary Aspects that can aid you in doing this is Tidal Aspect. However, you won’t just find one lying around after clearing a dungeon.
Farming this item can be difficult if you don’t know how. In this guide, we’ll explore the best ways to get your hands on the Tidal Aspect in Diablo 4. We’ll also take a look at the Aspect’s effect.
How To Find Tidal Aspect in Diablo 4

You’ll find the Tidal Aspect attached to legendary weapons in the game. So, to farm the item, you’ll need to engage in various activities, mowing down enemies and then looking for weapons that have this Aspect. Keep in mind that playing as a Necromancer is essential since Tidal Aspect is specific to that class. So, there’s a high possibility that playing as any other class will significantly reduce the chances for its drop.
The item in question is an offensive aspect, so focus on farming the following types of legendary gear to maximize your chances of finding it.
- One-handed weapons
- Amulets
- Two-handed weapons
- Gloves
- Rings
You can choose to participate in Helltide Events and Infernal Hordes to improve the chances of the item dropping. Killing Blood Maidens within Helltide Events can also sometimes help you to claim Tidal Aspect. Alternatively, you can try Legion Events and (if you’re on Season 8) Apparition Incursions. Remember that you’ll likely need to devote some time to farming the item, so be patient.
You can also gamble for the item at the Purveyor of Curiosities. If you decide to go down this route, we recommend gambling for Rings and Gloves only, as they cost just 50 Obols.

How To Use Tidal Aspect in Diablo 4

Once you find the Aspect, you’ll first need to Salvage it from its attached gear. Then, you can use the Occultist to apply the Tidal Aspect to your preferred weapon or gear. Keep in mind that you’ll need several more of these if you want to level up your attached Tidal Aspect. So, keep an eye out for them on any legendary gear that you pick up.
Applying Tidal Aspect will ensure that your Blood Wave ability fires two additional shots. Each of these shots will deal 200-240% of the ability’s normal damage. However, you won’t be able to recast the ability until you’ve fired the last wave. This effect makes your Blood Wave ability even deadlier, helping you tear down enemies much quicker.
