Learn how you can increase the stats of your horse using the Stables, a new structure added to V Rising in the 1.1 update.

In V Rising, players can use horses to cover large distances on the map. However, each horse that spawns in the overworld has different stat values that determine movement-related aspects of it. Before the Oakveil update, there was no way to properly increase a horse’s stats or get a perfect horse unless you were very lucky. However, you can now get one using the new Stables structure.
This guide explains how you can build the Stables, including all of their functions in V Rising.
Building a Stable in V Rising

The Stables is a structure that unlocks after you defeat Sir Erwin, a Level 46 V Blood carrier. Here are all the items that you are going to need to build the Stables:
- 8x Iron Ingot
- 12x Stone Brick
- 500x Plant Fibre
Once built, you can interact with it while riding your tamed or dominated horse. Doing so starts the feeding process of the horse. However, you first have to supply the Stables with different types of flowers based on which of the horses’ stats you wish to increase. The horse feeds on one flower every six seconds, and the stat increases by 0.01 for every two flowers.
As we mentioned before, horses spawn with different stats, so feeding time to maximum stat value can be different for each mount. Moreover, dominated horses have higher caps when it comes to stats. Here’s all of them, including what flower you need to raise the following stats:
Stat Name | Minimum Value | Maximum Value (Normal Horse) | Maximum Value (Vampire Horse) | Flowers Required |
---|---|---|---|---|
Max Speed | 7.5 | 9.5 | 10 | Sunflower Snow Flower Fire Blossom |
Acceleration | 3.5 | 6 | 7 | Hell’s Clarion Blood Rose Bleeding Heart |
Rotation Speed | 10 | 13 | 14 | Sacred Grapes Mourning Lily Plague Brier |
With all these flowers in the Stables, you can finally get the perfect horse in V Rising.
Dominated Mount Passives
The Stables not only let you increase a stat value but also unlock new skills for your vampire horse. Doing so requires you to feed it with various elixirs. Here they are:
Ability Name | Required Item | Description |
---|---|---|
Stability | 4x Elixir of the Beast | 25% chance to avoid being dismounted when struck by an attack |
Atheletics | 4x Elixir of the Prowler | Vault off your mount faster with an agile leap |
Eluding Leap | 4x Elixir of the Crow | Leave a decoy behind you to confuse nearby enemies when using shadow leap |
Severance | 4x Elixir of the Werewolf | Next melee attack performed within 3s after dismounting deals 50% bonus damage |
Thrust | 4x Elixir of the Twisted | Unlocks a Thrust ability that allows you to knock back and incapacitate enemies in your path. Additionally, you break any minor obstacles that you run into while thrust is active |
