Learn where to find every Security trainer in Oblivion Remastered and how to master lockpicking faster with their help.

Security is a skill that reduces the difficulty of lockpicking in Oblivion Remastered. You will encounter locked doors and chests in virtually every quest and adventure across Cyrodiil. Initially, lockpicking can be confusing and frustrating, with all the tumblers dropping if your lockpick breaks. However, reaching higher ranks in Security will reduce the tumblers that drop upon a failed attempt and slow down the tumblers’ movement, making lockpicking a far simpler affair.
Successfully setting a tumbler in place grants XP in Security. But, even if you pick every lock you come across, the skill can be slow to level up, especially if Security is not a major skill in your class. This is where Security Trainers speed things up, as they can level up the skill instantly in exchange for gold.

Security Training Quest in Oblivion Remastered
After reaching Security level 70, you can begin the ‘Security Training’ quest to learn from a master. Interact with Dro’shanji or Mandil to begin the mission. The advanced trainers will recommend that you speak with J’baana, one who is wise in the way of locks. Follow the map marker to the Imperial City Prison to find J’baana. Depending on the time of day, you may have to lockpick the back door of the Bastion to reach him.
J’baana tasks you with finding S’Krivva in Bravil and retrieving a message for him. S’Krivva can be found at her house or the Lonely Suitor Lodge. Once you bring J’baana the message, ‘Security Training’ is completed, and J’baana is ready to train you at any hour of the day.
