How To Get Topaz in Fantasy Life i The Girl Who Steals Time
You’ll only get Topaz from specific Copper nodes, so not all of the gathering nodes for Copper will yield Topaz. Instead, you should be on the lookout for the material when interacting with Amazing and Superior Copper Deposits. Even then, there is only a small chance of Topaz dropping from these particular nodes. On the rare occasions when that happens, you’ll receive either 1x or 2x Topaz from each gathering node.
As you must have guessed by now, your chances of acquiring Topaz improve greatly as you play through the Miner life. Also, when interacting with an Amazing or Superior Copper node, try to maximize your damage on the final swing of your pickaxe. If you’re successful, you’ll achieve the Excellent Gathering bonus, which greatly improves the chances of rare items like Topaz dropping.

Where To Find Amazing and Superior Copper Deposits?
The special Copper deposits can spawn randomly in many areas of the game. However, there are some areas where these deposits will always spawn without fail. One such area is Banaan Cave in the Mysteria Capital. You’ll have to face off against a few enemies inside before you can reach the very end of the cave. There, you’ll find a couple of Superior and Amazing Copper Deposits that you can tap. If you achieve the Excellent Gathering every time you hit these spots, you’ll be able to farm Topaz quite easily.
