The Goddess Statue in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is a critical monument on Mysteria that helps you restore the island’s residents to human form. A thousand years ago, the island was a prosperous paradise, but now, only ruins and remnants of the erstwhile great civilization remain. Most of the island’s people were transformed into Strangelings during a mysterious, cataclysmic event. These Strangelings often appear in the form of furniture or weapons

Made of stone and surrounded by blue flowers, the statue is actually of the Goddess Celestia. During Chapter 2 of the main quest, you head over to the Goddess Statue when Edward is inadvertently trapped behind a rock by Carla. Celestia begins speaking through the statue and offers to help. She asks that you place the “shred of hope” in front of the statue, and let her do the rest. When she says “shred of hope,” the goddess is referring to the Odd Dresser Strangeling you found with Edward. When you place the Odd Dresser in front of the statue, it transforms into Kunugi, the first Buddy in your party.

The main use of the Goddess Statue in your Base Camp is to restore Strangelings to their human form using Celestia’s Gift. This is the primary method to unlock a majority of the 50 Buddies you can find in the game. Celestia’s Gift, a blue flower, acts as currency to achieve this transmutation. Interact with the Goddess Statue and choose any Strangeling that you want to restore. You will need to collect a lot of Celestia’s Gift to convert each Strangeling.

Celestia’s Gift can be found growing around your Base Camp. Once you have found Hagram, you can enter Hagram Build Mode. Then, use Q on keyboard or LB on controller to harvest all Celestia’s Gift growing in your camp at once. To get additional Celestia’s Gift, complete Bulletin Board quests, daily activities, and clear rubble from the Base Camp.
