How To Recycle in Roadcraft

In Roadcraft, you cannot just collect scrap and recycle it by pressing a button. You must manually collect and drop the scrap at the recycling site to do the deed. Moreover, in some maps, you can only recycle a specific kind of material. Therefore, knowing what you can recycle is an important aspect of the game. Once you have enough scraps, follow these steps:

  • Load all the scrap on your vehicle.
  • Look for an inward-pointing arrow near the main depot building.
  • Unstrap the cargo.
  • Park the truck in the yellow-marked square.
  • If you’ve done everything right, all the material will vanish from the truck.

Before taking the cargo to the recycling station, ensure checking if it is the right type of material. On the third map, you can only recycle blue steel, so other materials like rubber or yellow junk will be rejected by the game. Additionally, you should always park the truck perfectly in the yellow square because the game is very strict about it.
