A large ship will arrive, helping you escape the planet. However, a recent update has added a so-called secret ending to the game that is quite interesting.

The Secret Ending of Dead Planets
In Dead Planets, players must pilot a space truck across treacherous terrain, evade hordes of infected, and call in the Hummingbird for extraction to safety. However, there is now a secret ending in the game that involves a special cutscene. Let’s take a look.
To trigger the secret ending, you first need to complete the usual steps (as shown on your screen). These include collecting the Threkk’s Emblem and dropping it in the green pool. Then, go to the extraction area to call for the extraction plane (Arclight One). This is when a new cutscene will appear.
The cutscene includes General Zorg, the boss, appearing and destroying the rescue plane. Your final task is to defeat the boss. You can team up with your friends to make the battle easier.
How To Defeat General Zorg (Boss Fight)
Playing with friends can make the fight easier, as teammates can distract Zorg or revive you. Expect a mix of ranged attacks (such as energy blasts) and melee attacks if you get too close. He may also summon infected minions or use area-of-effect (AoE) abilities. Try to clear them quickly, as they deal damage as well.
Upgrade your arsenal by selling meteor ingots at the market to earn credits. Prioritize powerful weapons like advanced rifles or explosives over the starting Photon Sabre, which is weak for the boss fight. Stay mobile to avoid Zorg’s heavy attacks. A bar at the top of the screen will display Zorg’s remaining health. Your goal is to reduce it to 0%.
Once you defeat Zorg, a special audio message will play. Defeating General Zorg grants the Zorg’s Defeat Badge and 50 coins.
