Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 will release on May 30, 2025, likely between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM PDT. The servers will go down for maintenance at 2:00 AM PDT, and they are expected to be down for around two to three hours.

The maintenance downtime will affect users on all platforms and devices at the same time. All matchmaking services across all game modes will be unavailable during this period. As such, all devices will also get the Season 2.5 update at the same time.

The most significant addition to Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 is Ultron, the newest Strategist. Interestingly, both the villains from the first two Avengers movies are Strategists in the game. That said, Ultron has a unique team-up ability with Iron Man that greatly increases his healing output. Other than that, Season 2.5 will also see the addition of a new map, Arakko, Ultron’s own haven that is considered to be a sister island of Krakoa (the mutant haven).
