Elden Ring Nightreign is a roguelike that throws you and two other players into the tortured lands of Limveld. Your goal is to survive these lands for three days and defeat a Nightlord on the third day. The task seems simple, but reaching the third day and defeating the Nightlord that awaits requires immense amounts of teamwork.
You need to scout for weapons and items while defeating tough enemies and evading the Night Tide. While teamwork is essential, it does not always work well since you are paired with two random players. The game’s lack of voice chat makes coordination difficult, which can lead to bad runs and tons of frustration.
Thankfully, Elden Ring Nightreign allows you to invite friends. You can invite these friends and then communicate with them using external voice chat applications, improving the Nightreign experience. How To Invite Friends in Elden Ring Nightreign

To invite friends, you first need to log into the game. Ensure that your game is set to Online by default. You can adjust this setting by opening the System Settings and heading to the Network subsection. Here, set the Launch Setting to “Play Online.”
Next, head to the Roundtable and commence an expedition. This will bring up a list of Nightlords you can choose to pursue. Ignore this and go to the next tab for Matchmaking Settings. You will then be shown a list of options. At the very top, under Team Session, you will see the option to Invite Members. Click on the button, and you can then choose to invite any of your friends playing on the same platform as you.
There are other ways to play with friends, too. In the sections below, you will find the option to set Multiplayer Passwords. Any player who enters the same password as you can then join your game. We recommend using the Invite Members option, as it is easier and more convenient for all involved.
