There are several homes in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon that you can purchase to have a cozy sleep every night. These homes are all unlocked through quests and a hefty sum of money. Why buy a home? Because they provide extra exp and stash, plus it’s always comfortable to have a base that you can customize to your liking.
Here’s how you can buy a home in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.
How To Buy a Home in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon?

You can purchase a few homes in certain locations spread throughout the Acts in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. Within these Acts, you can complete quests that let you buy certain homes linked to them. Or, be ready to empty your wallet and get the grind going, as homes are expensive in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.
Although, what are the advantages of owning such an expensive asset? You could buy a whole lot of other equipment, or try out some gold hacks to earn more gold. Well, for an achievement run, and some good roleplay as a giant entrepreneur in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.
Horns of the South Homes
There are a couple of homes in the game that are linked to quests, one of the earliest being the “Mansion by a Beach.” You basically get the home for free, or 500 gold. As this quest is linked to a romance quest for Alisa.
You have to look for a sign outside the homes to purchase them. Examples like The Village Villa in the Horns of the South. This home can be bought for a hefty 20,000 Gold. It is recommended not to purchase homes (except the first one) till the end of Act 1, as those funds can be used for other practical stuff. Like buying good equipment and ingredients for your character.
Cuanacht Homes
These were the homes available for Horns of the South. The next area, Cuanacht, also has a free home and an expensive one. You can acquire one of the homes on completion of the “Playing with Fire” questline. This quest is one of the classic choose-your-consequences and live with it quests, where you can decide the fate of an eccentric inventor, Firket, who involves himself with the local guards.
The other one is a quest against your conscience, as 50,000 gold for a house sounds a bit too much, but if you have grinded early, you should have the funds required. The house is located in the middle of Cuanacht town and might be one of the best locations for a house in the game.
Forlorn Swords Homes
The Dal Riata home is the last home in the game, located in the Forlorn Swords. You obtain the home after completing the “Divided We Fall” and “The Long Defeat” questlines. This is a retirement home for your character, as this is one of the final quests’ rewards in Tainted Grail.
