A variety of games were announced at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025; here’s a roundup of the key announcements.
The recent Xbox Games Showcase, which took place on June 8, 2025, made a bunch of new announcements for long-anticipated and shocking new games. These included Gears of War and Persona 4 remakes, along with other new titles being shown like Clockwork Revolution.
However, some game announcements and trailers will naturally stand out over the rest. Here are all the major ones:

The major announcements from the showcase were:

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
When it comes to iconic, long-running franchises, you will be hard-pressed to find something more impactful than Call of Duty. The latest game in the Black Ops series of the franchise has been announced in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The short teaser showed a lot of cinematic action, which is sure to have fans at the edge of their seats. Unfortunately, they did not unveil a release date or any further details for this game.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: Order of the Giants DLC
MachineGames released the Great Circle in late 2024. Fans of the cult classic Indiana Jones will be huge fans of the game and the newly announced DLC. The trailer showed Indiana Jones entering the city of Antioch in search of a secret relic.
The new DLC will be available September 4, 2025. Moreover, unlike the base game, which released on Xbox and PC initially, you will be able to play this DLC on the PlayStation as well.
Beast of Reincarnation
Game Freak rarely ventures outside of the Nintendo consoles. Therefore, it came as a shock when Beast of Reincarnation revealed two things:
- Firstly, Game Freak is behind this game.
- Secondly, it’s coming to the PlayStation, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The game will release sometime in 2026.
Invincible VS
A new 3v3 fighting game based on the famous Invincible series was also revealed. The trailer shows various characters from the series, including Invincible, Omni-Man, Atom Eve, and others. Invincible VS will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud, and Xbox PC in 2026.
Gears of War: Reloaded
This remaster will feature a lot of Quality of Life (QOL) changes from the original game. Moreover, it will support cross-platform support, along with cross-progression. Additionally, 4k resolution and 120 fps will also be available for this remaster.
Fans of the original Gears of War will definitely want to experience the ‘definitive’ version of the game on August 26, 2025.
Persona 4 Revival
ATLUS finally confirmed the much-anticipated remake for Persona 4. Titled Persona 4 Revival, we barely have any information about any gameplay or story changes taking place. We also didn’t get any release date indication for this at the moment. It will be coming to Xbox PC, Xbox Cloud, and Xbox Series X|S.

Other Major Announcements at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025
We got gameplay trailers for many games like Ninja Gaiden 4, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and Clockwork Revolution. Additionally, Square Enix will also be porting Final Fantasy 16 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade to the Xbox consoles. The showcase also revealed some indie hits like Super Meat Boy 3D, High on Life 2, and Planet of Lana II.
