With the alpha phase for Vindictus: Defying Fate taking flight, players have been hopping onto the game quickly. Vindictus: Defying Fate is an RPG action game, keeping you on your toes with all the action it comes with. While slashing your enemies dead is the prime goal, you cannot embark on this adventure empty-handed. There are various items that you get to collect and craft to help increase your chances.

In this article, we will be looking at the types of items and the inventory system in Vindictus: Defying Fate.

Fashion Items

These items serve no additional purposes other than providing your character with some aesthetic value. This means that equipping these items will not affect your character’s abilities. On the contrary, you get to help give your character the look that seems fitting. Fashion items come in various types for both your character and your weapons.

You can choose to either craft or source these items during your hunt. Using the crafting system to build these items will help improve the crafting level as well as reflect on your character’s overall status. Some items can be worn by any gender whereas others will be restricted to specific genders.

Flovian Flash

The Flovian flask is an essential item in Vindictus: Defying Fate. Through the multitude of battles you will face during your journey, falling prey to damage will not be an uncommon feat. In such an instance, recovering your health to give yourself a fair fighting chance is necessary. This is where the Flovian Flask comes into play.

You can use this item to recover your health. While the fluvial flask is not unlimited, it can automatically replenish once you return to camp. You can also use certain abilities to further enhance the performance of the flask.

Consumable Recovery Item

While similar in nature to the Flovian Flask, the Consumable Recovery Items are a bit different. These items also help restore your character’s health. You will be able to get an immediate effect after using this, which is perfect when in the midst of a tough battle and time is crucial.

The limitations to using this item, however, lie in the number of consumable recovery items you hold in your inventory. Unlike the Flovian Flask, this will not automatically replenish itself. Once you use up the items you have in your inventory, you will need to find or craft more of them to use. You will be able to collect these as rewards for defeating monsters or from loot boxes in a battle area as well.

Inventory UI

Your character’s inventory is crucial, as you get to store all the items you need the most for your expenditure. Managing the storage well is necessary. You never know when you’ll encounter a certain collectible item with no space left in your inventory. In your inventory, you will have the following options.

  1. Check Items
  2. Dispose Items
  3. Register/Remove Items from quick slots

During the alpha phase, you will not have items that you can use directly from the inventory. You can only use them by registering them in your quick slots.

Warehouse UI

The warehouse UI is very handy during tight situations. You can only hold a certain number of combat items in your inventory or quick slot. Once the space is full, these items will quickly reassign themselves to your warehouse automatically.

Quick Slot UI

Quick Slot is a system that helps use items quickly during battle. Using up the number of items you have in a particular slot will automatically clear the slot and keep it available for another item. The items will replenish to full capacity when resting at a camp.

To register an item in the quick slot, simply press the ‘R’ button on your keyboard & mouse, the ‘X’ button on your Xbox, or the ‘Square’ button on your PlayStation.
