Here is a walkthrough guide on how you can find all chapter shrines and complete the Recruit Passcode Specialist quest in Stellar Blade.
The Recruit Passcode Specialist quest can be a bit confusing, as you need to find well-hidden altars in Stellar Blade. These altars contain the codes you need to access the terminal and complete the bulletin board quest. However, finding these altars can be a bit tricky, especially if you don’t know where to look.
You might think you just need the code and register them directly into the terminal without visiting the shrines. This does not work as you need to find all six shrines first before you can use the passcode.
With that said, here is a walkthrough guide on how to complete the Recruit Passcode Specialist quest in Stellar Blade.

How To Start the Recruit Passcode Specialist in Stellar Blade
Getting your hands on one of the seven Prayers Chapter of Trial documents in Stellar Blade will kickstart the Recruit Passcode Specialist quest. Once you do, you can head to Xion and check the bulletin board for the specific request. Sometimes, it won’t show up. If it doesn’t, try and progress through the main story for a bit.
The goal of this quest is to open up a crate found in a ship. However, it requires a six-digit passcode. Each digit is scattered throughout various locations in the game. These locations have a green shrine that you can interact with to get one of the digits for the passcode.
All Recruit Passcode Specialist Shrine Locations and Code in Stellar Blade
There are a total of six shrines you need to visit for the Recruit Passcode Specialist quest in Stellar Blade. Each of the shrines will have one of the codes you need to open up the crate in the giant ship southwest of the Wasteland region.
Here is the list of shrines and the code you will find:
- Chapter of Trial 1 – β
- Chapter of Trial 2 – θ
- Chapter of Trial 3 – α
- Chapter of Trial 4 – λ
- Chapter of Trial 5 – δ
- Chapter of Trial 6 – ζ
After checking out the shrines, you form the passcode “βθαλδζ” which you can then use in the crate terminal. However, keep in mind that the terminal will not open by just entering the passcode without visiting the shrines. You first need to get to the shrines for the passcode to work.

You can check out the locations of each shrine below:
Chapter of Trial 1
The first shrine is located inside the railyard. You can fast travel there and head down to the lower levels and keep following the linear path. When you reach a flooded area, you need to swim down and head inside the submerged door and resurface on the other side.
Following the path, you’ll eventually reach an open area with a ladder leading to a room with a lot of candles and a shrine.
Chapter of Trial 2
The next shrine is located in the Great Desert. Check inside a broken-down building. It’s on an open platform that you need to climb up to reach.
Chapter of Trial 3
For the Chapter 3 shrine, it is still in the Great Desert. This time, it’s located in the southeastern part of the region. From the waypoint, check out a broken-down building. You should see a cracked wall that you can shoot to open up a path.
Head further and make a right turn into a metal gate with an intact door. Do not go through the one with no door. Open the door and make another right turn, and you should find the candle-lit just behind a wall shrine.

Chapter of Trial 4
For the next shrine, is in an underground location in the Great Desert. In the location marked on the map below, you will see a massive tunnel or hyper tube entrance. Make your way inside and slide down to a pool of water. Nearby, there should be a patch of land where you’ll find the shrine.
Chapter of Trial 5
Heading back to the Wasteland, you can find the next shrine on the west side of the map. This one is not so subtle as it is in the surface, inside a rock crevice, just near the western supply camp.
Chapter of Trial 6
The final shrine is located on the southeastern side of the wasteland. Just like in Chapter of Trial 5, it’s also inside a rock crevice.

Recruit Passcode Specialist Reward in Stellar Blade
Completing all six shrine visits and opening the ship crate in the Recruit Passcode Specialist unlocks the La Vie en Rose Nano Suit for EVE in Stellar Blade. Additionally, you also get the seventh document: Chapter of Salvation 0-Ω.
With that said, there are more rewards in store for you after opening the crate. Head back to the bulletin board in Xion and claim around 20,000 gold.
