An extra cutscene with Spamton and Tenna in Chapter 3 is a well-hidden secret in Deltarune. Follow this article to learn how to unlock it.
Deltarune is filled with many secrets, and Spamton and Tenna’s secret cutscene is among them. You should encounter Spamton in the second chapter as well, but what makes this scene more interesting is the history between the two characters. Players will find this unique hidden encounter during Tenna’s TV World in Chapter 3. However, to unlock this hidden segment, you will have to fulfill some requirements in both the second and third chapters of Deltarune.
Additionally, there is also a different variant of the cutscene available for players who are exploring the Snowgrave route. So, if you have finished chapter 2 without doing some of the things that we mentioned below, reload an old save and follow this guide.
How To Get Spamton and Tenna’s Secret Cutscene in Deltarune Chapter 3
The first thing you have to know is that Spamton and Tenna’s secret cutscene in Deltarune happens at the end stages of Chapter 3 and takes place in the Bonus Room. To find the bonus room, you will have to interact with a Green Tenna TV screen in the maze that is located two screens over from the Darkners Live concert save point. More specifically, the mentioned TV screen will be at the bottom of said maze.
Once you are there, you will find a screen with a green smiling face on it. You will be able to get into the bonus room by interacting with this particular screen. After entering the Bonus Room, you will find a suspicious blue drawer. Open it to start the Spamton and Tenna’s secret cutscene, during which Spamton comes out of your inventory and interacts with Tenna.
However, if you are on the Snowgrave route, then Spamton won’t appear, and you will get a different version of the cutscene.
Equip the Dealmaker or Puppetscarf To Get the Cutscene
Keep in mind that you will have to have the Dealmaker or the Puppetscarf equipped beforehand for Spamton to make an appearance. To get your party members both of the mentioned items, you will have to defeat the Spamton NEO boss in a battle in Chapter 2. Thus, if you missed the fight in the previous chapter, reloading an old save is the only way to rectify it.
Lastly, it is not possible to experience this cutscene once you have beaten Tenna and progressed to Chapter 4 in Deltarune. However, even in that scenario, you will have many other secrets to unlock and explore.
