Roblox +1 Speed Prison Escape is a fun and exciting simulator game where you are tasked with escaping a prison. The twist being – you get +1 speed every second. The game is developed by Apparently Runners. Released in May 2025, the game has recorded over 4.3 million visits. It recently launched a new Squid Game-themed map. Let’s learn about the game.

Let’s first launch the game. To launch the game, search for “[UPD 🦑] +1 Speed Prison Escape⚡” by Apparently Runners in the Roblox game library. Click “Play” to join a server.
How To Play
First, you need to select a prison map. Use your speed to navigate through obstacles, avoid traps, and reach the exit. At the start, your speed will be low. The more you move, the more you gain speed.
However, there is also a stamina bar. So you will not be able to move constantly. If the stamina bar reaches zero, then you will have to wait for it to refill before moving again. The game includes areas with guards that you must either evade or outrun. If caught, you’ll returned to your last checkpoint.
The game has checkpoints, so it saves your progress. You can also check out the progress bar at the top of your screen to see how far you have gotten.
How To Train
Before escaping, you’ll encounter a gym area with equipment. Use these to train and boost your character’s speed. The more you train, the faster your character becomes, which is essential for outrunning guards.
Equip Pets
Purchase pets in the in-game shop using cash or earn them through events like the Squid Island Event. Assign pets to gain bonuses, such as increased speed or cash earnings during training.
New Map (Squid Game Island)
A new Squid Game-themed map is now available in the game called the Squid Island Prison. This map draws inspiration from the Netflix series Squid Game, featuring a prison escape environment with a thematic design reminiscent of the show’s intense survival challenges.
The Squid Game Map event is available from June 27 to July 31, 2025.
