The Mannequin is a helpful accessory which can give you an advantage over specific enemies and even a boss in Deltarune.
Many enemies and bosses have hidden mechanics and weaknesses you must exploit to win or at least make your life easier. These can come in the form of specific items you can use or various ACTs in response to certain enemy behavior.
The Mannequin is one such item, which isn’t necessary but is useful against some enemies in the game. Here is how to obtain and who to use this item against.
What Does the Mannequin Do in Deltarune?
Unlike most other armor pieces, this item does not provide a clear increase to any of your stats. You might be confused over its hidden effect, as it does not indicate what the effect does.
This is a unique piece of armor, which reduces damage dealt by puppet or cat-based attacks. This effect will be useful for dealing with certain enemies in Chapter 2.
The two enemies, which use the aforementioned attacks are Tasque and Tasque Manager. Additionally, some of Spamton NEO’s attacks can also be mitigated with this armor. However, you must be careful if you want to acquire this item.

How To Get the Mannequin in Deltarune
This is a missable armor from Chapter 2. So, double-check if you have obtained this armor piece. You can buy this item from the salesman in Cyber City. This item costs 300 D$, and once you are done with its use, you can sell it for half the original cost, i.e. 150 D$.
However, this item is not always available, as there are two conditions under which this item becomes unattainable. Firstly, you cannot buy this item if Noelle leaves the party. So, try to get this item as soon as possible.
Secondly, you cannot obtain this item on the Snowgrave Route. Apart from these two conditions, the item will remain within your grasp during this chapter. That was everything to know about the Mannequin in Deltarune.
