Thankfully, the Charm Chisel lets you reroll those stats and aim for better numbers. Here’s how to find it, use it, and get the most out of your charms.
What Is the Charm Chisel?
The Charm Chisel is a special tool in Dig that lets you re-roll the stats (also called pips) on your charms. This is especially helpful when you pick up a rare charm that has poor stats; rerolling gives you another shot at getting stronger buffs without replacing the whole charm.
How To Get the Charm Chisel in Dig
You can buy the Charm Chisel in Fox Town, the starting area of the game.
Here’s what to do:
- Head to the Bank in Fox Town.
- Look to the right of the Banker, there you’ll find the Appraiser NPC.
- Interact with the Appraiser and choose the option to buy the Charm Chisel.
- It costs $25,000 in-game currency.
- Once purchased, it’ll be added directly to your backpack.
There’s no level or quest requirement; you just need the cash.
How To Use the Charm Chisel in Dig Roblox
Once you have a Charm Chisel, you can use it to reroll any charm in your inventory. Here’s how:
- Equip the Charm Chisel from your backpack to your quickbar.
- Press the associated key to hold it in your hand.
- When equipped, the Charms tab in your inventory will open automatically.
- Each charm in your collection will now have a pencil/edit icon at the bottom.
- Click the icon on the charm you want to reroll.
- Confirm the reroll and pay the fee; it’s different for each rarity tier.
Each time you reroll, one Charm Chisel is consumed, and the stats of the charm are randomized again.

The higher the rarity, the more expensive it is to reroll. Here’s the full list of reroll prices by tier:

What Happens When You Reroll?
Using a Charm Chisel does not change the charm’s ability, but it does reroll all stat numbers and pips. If a charm has multiple stats (like endurance, luck, etc.), each will be rolled separately within its possible range. The stats follow a letter-based grading system from F (lowest) to SS (highest). So yes, it’s entirely possible to take a charm with average stats and reroll it into something much stronger, or not, if luck isn’t on your side.
The Charm Chisel is a solid investment if you’re trying to fine-tune your build in Dig. Whether you’re prepping for boss fights or just want your digging stats maxed out, rerolling your charm stats can make a big difference. Save up a few chisels, try your luck, and aim for those SS rolls.
