Steal a Brainrot Update 5 is here! Discover new brainrots, items, traits, and the latest features in this exciting update.
Update 5 is live in Steal a Brainrot, bringing new brainrots, items, traits, and more. We also have a brand new Traits mechanic, which adds cosmetic variations to the brainrots during in-game events. In terms of progression, the devs have upped the level cap, bringing Rebirth Level 11 and new gear tied to it.

Everything To Know About the Latest Steal a Brainrot Update
New Brainrots
Every new update has added new brainrots to the game, and Update 5 is no exception. Devs included six new ones in the patch notes for the players to buy or steal. These make up the crux of the gameplay loop. Here is a list of the brianrots and their corresponding rarity.

Rebirth 11 Level and New Gear
Rebirth 11 is now the highest level you can get. This rebirth requires a lot of money and will unlock a couple of new gear items at the Coins Shop. Here is a complete breakdown of Rebirth 11 and the new gear tied to it.

Traits
Traits are a completely new mechanic added in the latest update. Like Mutations, Traits also affect the cash multiplier for Brainrots. In addition, Traits impart visual changes and appear as hats or trails. For example, during the Taco event, Brainrots can get the Taco Hat, and during the Rainbow Cat event, they have a chance to get the Rainbow Trail.
A key difference between Traits and Mutations is that a single brainrot can get several Traits but only one type of mutation.
