Koa is the personification of the couch in Date Everything, possessing the personality of a giant teddy bear. He is the 20th Dateable on the Date-A-Dex and raises the Empathy SPECS stat. Koa can be a tricky character to romance, as it’s easy to spoil his mood with too much talking. This article will guide you through how to reach each of the three available endings with him.
Where To Find Koa in Date Everything
Find Koa by using the Dateviators on the couch in the living room. From the front door, head left to enter the living room. Scan the green couch sitting opposite the TV. After a brief introductory conversation, Koa will be unlocked as a Dateable.

According to Koa, couch culture is not big on verbal expression. To win over the big guy, you just need to sit with him in silence and vibe. Accept his gifts, such as spare change and lint, as these hold great value to him. He tries to convey that lint is a part of a couch’s soul, and he wants you to have it. Take the personal gifts without ridiculing or insulting Koa.
Love
Koa directly conveys how he would like you to be around him and what matters to him. Follow his cues and sit with him in peaceful silence during each meeting and accept his gifts with understanding. The gifts are the kind of things you find buried between the seats of a sofa, like spare change and lint.
During the final meeting, Koa will start feeling uncharacteristically anxious. Put his mind at ease and he will confess his feelings for you with sofa candies. Accept the candies and reciprocate his affection to get the love ending with Koa.
Friendship
To become friends with Koa, hang out with him while following a similar approach to the love route. You are free to experiment with the dialogue choices a little more as long as you don’t refuse the silence or reject his gifts several times. After the final meeting, choose to remain friends with him to get the ending.
Hate
In order to get the hate ending, act in complete contrast to the romance route. Be rude in your responses, reject the silence, and mock his gifts. After a few meetings, one of the nicest characters in the game will start to hate you.
