Bearing the Weight of Ghosts is one of the new quests that are part of Diablo 4 Season 9. Sins of the Horadrim introduces a plethora of new content and is shaping up to be a worthy follow-up to previous seasons. This quest immediately takes place after the first one and involves your Wanderer raiding a Horadric Strongroom.
Since this is one of the early missions in the season, it can be viewed as a tutorial to get you in the program. The process is fairly similar, and you will likely be doing plenty of raiding throughout the season. This article will be a step-by-step guide for completing this main quest.

Completing the Bearing The Weight of Ghosts Main Quest in Diablo 4 Season 9
Here are all the main objectives of Bearing The Weight of Ghosts main quest:
- Speak to Bryona.
- Enter a Nightmare Dungeon.
- Find the Horadric Strongroom.
- Recover the Blood Relic.
- Return to Bryona to wrap up the quest.
After wrapping up the Embers Yet Smolder main quest, you can continue the campaign by speaking to Bryona. She will then task you to enter a Nightmare Dungeon, which is a challenge room full of powerful loot. You can gain access to a Nightmare Dungeon by finding a Nightmare Sigil from caches.
In Sins of the Horadrim, Blizzard Entertainment added a little extra called the Horadric Strongroom. These are smaller dungeons found within dungeons, and your Wanderer must complete the objectives in a certain amount of time. To find the entry portal, you must clear out every enemy in the room until it spawns.
Enter the portal and clear all the enemies from within. Once all smaller enemies are defeated, a boss will spawn and will be your final hurdle for the quest. After defeating the boss, recover the Blood Relic and inform Bryona of your progress. Head back to Bryona, and after a brief conversation, you will have completed the Bearing The Weight of Ghosts main quest in Diablo 4 Season 9: Sins of the Horadrim.
