Survive the desert in Lost in the Desert – Abu Fanous. Discover tips for Chapter 2 and strategies to get the Secret Ending.
Chapter 2 is live in the Lost in the Desert – Abu Fanous Roblox experience. Players who have completed the first chapter can directly start the second chapter from the lobby as of July 2, 2025. Lost in the Desert – Abu Fanous is a linear survival game where you are stuck in the desert and have to avoid and fight off Jinns and other supernatural beings. This article will guide you through Chapter 2 and explain how to get the three endings:
- Bad Ending
- Good Ending
- Secret Ending

Lost in the Desert – Abu Fanous Chapter 2 Walkthrough
First Area
At the start of Lost in the Desert – Abu Fanous Chapter 2, you will spawn next to a car. Talk to an NPC and then refuel the car using the gas can. A cutscene of you driving through the desert will begin. After a while, your car hits a bird, and you go out to inspect it. A mysterious woman will appear and scare your character.
She will warn you to leave the area, claiming it is full of jinns. However, you disregard the advice and start making camp.
Camp Area
In the next area, your first objective is to set up camp. First, unload the sofas from your car and light the lanterns. Locate the prayer mat beside your car and start praying. You will hear a noise afterward.
Follow the lines that appear on the screen to the source of the noise. The lines will lead you to an empty cave with a bonfire in the middle. After you get close, a throng of people appears out of nowhere and starts dancing around the bonfire. You cannot interact with them, and the group disappears after a few moments. Night 2 starts after you return to camp. You realize your lanterns are running out of fuel, and you are tasked with finding sticks. Find eight sticks and light a fire. Drink some coffee and walk to your car to try to leave.
After a cutscene, you realize someone has tampered with your car. You spot an oasis and have to walk toward it to quench your thirst. However, the water disappears when you get near. Nearby is an abandoned village. There is a room on the right side of the village that you have to enter. The door shuts behind you, and black smoke fills the room. This is where you encounter your first Jinn — the Donkey Jinn. It will abduct you.
Donkey Jinn’s Lair
You wake up in the Donkey Jinn’s lair and have to find a way out. The lair is a maze, and your task is to find eight rope knots and untie them. Each knot will have a violet glow to help you locate it. Beware of the Donkey Jinn as it will be patrolling the area. Run away and break its line of sight if you get spotted.
A door will open after you successfully untie all eight knots. Walk out to escape.
Lever Room
You find yourself in a tunnel that leads to a room with a different jinn. This large room has eight levers that you need to use to get out. The jinn will be patrolling around the room. While hiding spots are sparse, the jinn has a limited line of sight and will only spot you if you are directly in front. Duck behind boxes and turn the eight levers to progress.
Donkey Jinn Fight
This is the start of the main fight for Lost in the Desert – Abu Fanous Chapter 2. You wake up at the camp and feel elated. But the Donkey Jinn appears and taunts you. Then the first proper fight starts. You will get an AK-47 to shoot the Donkey Jinn.
If you manage to successfully kill the jinn, the woman from the first scene reappears and summons more jinns. Kill all of them, but try not to waste your bullets. You will need them later.
Lost in the Desert – Abu Fanous Chapter 2 Finale: Good and Bad Endings
This is the final fight of the chapter. If you successfully vanquish all of the jinns, the woman transforms into the final boss, Al-’Ifrit. Use your remaining bullets to kill Al-’Ifrit. To get the good ending in Lost in the Desert – Abu Fanous Chapter 2, you have to successfully kill the boss.
However, if you die, you get the bad ending.
How To Get the Secret Ending in Lost in the Desert – Abu Fanous Chapter 2
There is a secret third ending in Lost in the Desert – Abu Fanous Chapter 2. To get it, you have to do things a bit differently. When the Donkey Jinn fight starts before the finale, you have to locate a cave situated to your left. Instead of killing the Donkey Jinn, lure him inside the cave. Players do note that the entrance to the cave was bugged at release.
When you enter the cave, you will see a lot of red water. To get the secret ending, make sure the Donkey Jinn gets into the water. The game should reward you with the corresponding badge.
