Where To Find The Quest
The Paleontologist’s Wish quest is located in the Copper Mesa region which is located in the second island, but you need to unlock it first, follow this guide to know how to go there. Now to begin the quest, you’ll need to find Kira Pale, who’s set up camp in the deeper parts of the zone.
Kira Pale NPC Location
Kira is found standing next to a massive, half-buried dinosaur skull. Her camp is one of the more memorable landmarks in Copper Mesa, so it won’t take too long to find once you’re in the area.
Quest Objective
After speaking with Kira, she’ll ask you to help her gather materials for her paleontological research. It’s a simple request, but it does require a bit of patience.
What You Need to Do
- Dig 125 Items anywhere within Copper Mesa
There are no specific items required, just keep digging in the zone until you’ve hit the total. Using a high-haste or multi-dig shovel will help you complete this faster.
Quest Reward
Once you’ve dug up all 125 items, return to Kira and speak with her again. She’ll thank you for your help and give you the following rewards:
- EXP
- Money
- 55 Magnet Crates
This is one of the more rewarding mid-game quests, especially if you’re low on magnet supplies.
If you’re grinding this quest, avoid switching regions while digging, as only items found within Copper Mesa count toward your total. Equip a shovel with decent haste and control to speed up the process.
