Rule the server with unmatched power. Here’s how the King class works in Dead Rails and whether it’s worth the 75 Bonds.

If you’re rolling with a full squad, the King class might be the strongest pick in Dead Rails right now. Introduced in the July 4th update, this class is designed to dominate when paired with multiple teammates running the Knight class. Here’s everything you need to know.
What Is the King Class in Dead Rails Roblox?

The King class is a support-scaling tank that grows stronger based on how many players in your party are using the Knight class. For every Knight in the run, the King gains more health and damage. At full potential with 9 Knights, the buffs are massive, making you nearly unkillable and able to one-shot most enemies.
You also get a crown. Not just for looks, it helps show who’s boss.
How To Unlock the King Class

To unlock King, follow these steps:
- Visit the Tailor in the lobby.
- Find King in the list of classes.
- Spend 75 Bonds to unlock it.
Ways to earn Bonds:
- Finishing runs (Normal or Nightmare).
- Completing challenges during runs.
- Exploring POIs and world events for hidden Bonds.
How King Scaling Works
The more Knights you have in your team, the stronger the King becomes. While exact numbers aren’t listed in-game, testing shows that:
- Each Knight adds a significant boost to both damage and max HP.
- At full party Knight coordination (9 Knights). You can deal double damage.
- You also get massive tankiness. Withstanding hits that would drop any other class.
Note: Thanks to a bug, the party limit can sometimes be exceeded, allowing more than 9 Knights, which stacks even further.
King Class: Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Insanely powerful when teamed up with Knights.
- No downsides if no Knights are present (acts like None class).
- Becomes a raid boss with a fully coordinated team.
- Unique synergy potential with the Knight class.
Cons:
- Expensive at 75 Bonds.
- Heavily team-reliant, requires multiple Knights to be effective
- Useless in solo play.
- Knight class also costs 75 Bonds, so convincing friends isn’t easy.
Is King Worth It?
Only if you have the squad to support it. King is hands-down the strongest team-based class in Dead Rails. With just one or two Knights, the buffs are noticeable. With a full team, you become a walking fortress with double the stats.
However, if you’re playing solo or in public lobbies, skip this one. King has zero benefits without Knights around.
If your crew is coordinated and already owns the Knight class, King is worth every Bond. Just don’t go it alone, a King without Knights is just a guy with a fancy hat.
