Blue Sparks
These Sparks increase your trainee’s base stats. Moreover, the Blue Sparks you obtain after a Career run are determined by your character’s stats. At the end of a run, the game selects one stat (out of five) at random. It then checks the value of this stat and rewards you with a Blue Spark that corresponds to it.
The rarity of this Spark is chance-based. However, if you have a higher stat value in the selected category, you will have a better chance of getting a three-star Blue Spark. So, try achieving higher values for at least two stats to improve your odds.
Pink Sparks
The previous Spark was a stat Spark; this one is an aptitude Spark. This Spark can give you A-rank aptitudes for certain types of races at the start of a run. These also have a chance to upgrade to S-rank if you encounter certain events during the Career run.
You can get a Pink Spark randomly at the end of a Career run. The aptitude is randomly selected from any category in which you have an A-rank or higher. In general, you will want Terrain or Distance Sparks for your legacy characters. Unlike Blue Sparks, the number of stars for Pink Sparks is decided randomly.

Green Sparks
This Spark can pass on Ultimate Skills from the legacy to the trainee. However, there is a catch. Your legacy unit must be at least three stars or higher to pass down a Green Spark.
If you have a one-star or two-star character, you should first raise their star level using Star Pieces and then pass down the Sparks. These Sparks are always passed down at the start of a Career run.

Colorless Sparks
There are two types of Sparks in this category. First, you have a chance to get these Sparks if you purchased any skills during the Career run. Gold-border skills have a higher chance of becoming a Spark when bought.
The second type is Race Sparks. These Sparks are obtained after winning races. They raise your stats and sometimes grant skills as well.
You will need to take note of all the different types of Sparks if you want to build the perfect legacy in Umamusume Pretty Derby.
