The best tip to follow in College Football 26 is to keep the new feature in mind. It lets players commit to a different route while the action is already live. The feature is called Route Commit. Players using it can either commit to an inside or outside route. If you find the enemy offense committing to their route inwards, you can universally order your team to commit to the same route by pressing RB/R1 and flicking the left joystick to the left side. You can do the same for out-breaking routes by flicking the left joystick to the right side.

2. Zone Depth

Another feature that you should know about is zone depth. You can custom stem zones before the ball is snapped as per your wish. Do this by selecting an individual player and holding LB/L1. Now, hold the left stick up to increase the depth into the enemy backlines, and hold it down to decrease the depth of the zone. You can be more precise by using the top and bottom buttons on the D-pad to increase and decrease the zone depths by 5 meters each.

3. Avoid Fumble

Fumbling the ball in American Football is dangerous for your team. If the enemy team gets possession of it, you will lose all your downs. So, one good tackle can turn the tide of the battle. Before College Football 26, the handling of the ball was much more conventional. However, now if you don’t pay attention, you may fumble the ball after a tackle.

To ensure that you don’t fumble, simply hold RB/R1 as you see a tackle approaching. This will command your offensive athlete to cover the ball before the tackle.
