How To Start the Raising Spears Side Quest

To unlock the Raising Spears side quest, you must finish the preceding quest, Consumed by Pride, which is the first quest of the Crane Tribe’s questline. The entire questline focuses on the tribe’s hardships and their battle against the cannibals. In Raising Spears, you will help Ealda obtain the Blood-etched Spears from a dangerous dungeon to regain their strength. After completing the Consumed by Pride quest, speak with Ealda at the Crane Tribe Hutmoot, and she asks you to meet her at the burial grounds.

Your objective is to help Ealda collect the Blood-etched Spears from the Champion’s Demise dungeon. The dungeon is located at the Desolation’s Reach, which can be accessed easily by heading northeast from Jirandai. Inside, you will find numerous demons. Clearing them out not only allows you to collect the spears easily but also grants you a lot of XP.

Find and gather eight Blood-etched Spears inside the dungeon. You can easily find them with the quest indicators on the map. They can be found near stone pedestals and stone carvings in different parts of the dungeon. Collecting the eighth and final Blood-etched Spear completes the Raising Spears quest, and you will receive the rewards. This also unlocks Fury Against Fate, the final quest of the Crane Tribe’s questline.

Note that the quest is bugged at the time of writing, causing some issues with the spears. If you can’t get rid of the bug even after resetting the dungeon or restarting the game, it is better to wait for a while until the developers deploy a hotfix.
