What Is Jin’s Blessing in Dig Roblox?
Jin’s Blessing is a timed +2 Luck bonus in Dig. You can activate it by offering a gold nugget, gold cart, or a golden-modified item to Jin, the God of Gold.
- Effect: +2 Luck for 1 hour
- Stacking: No stacking; offering another item resets the timer
- Location: Monk’s Workshop (Cinder Cavern, Level 1)
This boost helps improve your chances of digging up rare and valuable items throughout the game. While it doesn’t double your luck, a +2 increase can noticeably improve your loot quality, especially during events or when using high-tier tools.
Get Jin’s Blessing in Dig
Step 1: Getting a Gold Nugget
There are two ways to find a gold nugget in Dig:
Method 1: Fernhill Forest
- Travel to Foxtown and enter Fernhill Forest.
- Start digging until you find a gold nugget. It’s a legendary item, so it may take a while.
- There are no abundance zones for gold nuggets here, making the process slower.
Method 2: Desert Island (Faster)
- Unlock the Ferry at Cinder Shores by completing at least 50% of your journal (about 100 discovered items).
- Buy a ferry ticket for $3,000 and travel to the Desert Island.
- Use an Item Detector ($10,000 at Foxtown) to find a Gold Nugget Abundance Zone.
- Dig in the marked spot to quickly find gold nuggets.
This second method is far more efficient, especially with an item detector and a vehicle.
Step 2: Reaching Jin (Monk’s Workshop)
To activate Jin’s Blessing, you must locate the Monk’s Workshop deep in the mines.
How To Reach It
- From Foxtown, enter the Cinder Cavern mine entrance.
- Go to the elevator near the back of the cavern.
- Pay $1,000 to descend to Level 1.
- Use a vehicle and follow this path:
- Go straight until you see leaves.
- Turn left and drive past the first blueshroom.
- Turn left again when you see more leaves.
- Look for a set of small lanterns and take a sharp right.
- You’ll arrive at the Monk’s Workshop.
- Coordinates: 4443, -360, -1536
Once you’re there, approach the large statue of Jin and prepare your offering.
Step 3: Activating Jin’s Blessing
To trigger the +2 Luck boost:
- Hold a gold nugget, a gold cart, or a golden modified item.
- Stand near Jin, the God of Gold.
- Press E to offer the item.
If accepted, you’ll receive +2 Luck for 1 hour.
- Offering more items will not stack the effect.
- It only resets the 1-hour timer, so wait until your current boost expires before offering again.
Should You Use Jin’s Blessing?
When It’s Worth It:
- Grinding for rare items or mutation parts.
- During events like Meteor Showers or Blue Moons, which you can trigger using the Radiant Horn.
- When using top-tier shovels to maximize drop chances.
- Farming in areas with valuable abundance.
When To Hold Off
- If your gold item has special traits like Shiny, Gargantuan, or Titanic
- These are extremely valuable and should probably be sold or kept
- When the boost would expire while you’re not digging
